Cori Doerrfeld

cori-doerrfeld-2CORI DOERRFELD has been creating art since she could first hold a pencil. After graduating with a degree in studio art from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, she received her Post Baccalaureate from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. With a strong passion for animation and children’s literature, Cori has always tried to create art that tells a story. Cori is the author-illustrator of Penny Loves Pink (Little, Brown), Little Bunny Foo Foo (Dial), Matilda in the Middle (Little, Brown) and Maggie and Wendel: Imagine Everything! (S&S). She has also illustrated a quartet of seasonal board books—the most recent of which is Barnyard Baby—written by The New York Times bestselling author Elise Broach (Little, Brown), as well as Fingers For Lunch by Brandt Lewis (Little, Brown).
