SARI ERAN-HERSKOVITZ had once planned to be a poet, a painter, and a farmer
when she grew up. Eventually she became an author-illustrator and an art
therapist. Sari creates stories and visual worlds that aim to encourage
playfulness, imagination, and emotional connection. She has created storytelling
cards and dance inspiration cards, both aimed to inspire open-ended play and
creative self-expression. Sari is an active member of SCBWI and leads
workshops in spontaneous illustration and creative brainstorming for writers
and illustrators. Her chapter-book debut, Nina’s Secret Music, is currently out on submission.
