MOLLY RUTTAN is an author/illustrator who grew up in beautiful Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. She and her twin sister spent their childhood drawing, painting, playing music and making all kinds of things—stuffed animals, games, and of course, books! Molly graduated with a BFA in graphic design from the Cooper Union School of Art and has since won several SCBWI portfolio honors. Her illustrator debut I AM A THIEF by Abigail Rayner was published by from NorthSouth and received a star from Kirkus Reviews. Her author-illustrator debut, THE STRAY, was published by Nancy Paulsen Books/Penguin Random House. Molly is married to her childhood sweetheart and fellow musician, with whom she has three daughters. They live in Echo Park, California, where she works as a graphic designer and artist.
