NATALIE TOUCHBERRY is an author/illustrator based in Colorado. Inspired by nature, animals, and the wonder of childhood, her work moves between reality and fantasy—sometimes grounded in the natural world, other times playfully imaginative, like a girl dining with ghosts or dragons sipping tea with mice.
Natalie’s path to illustration began with a career in graphic design, but her love for storytelling led her in a new direction. Years ago, a visit to an exhibit on Swiss illustrator Alois Carigiet planted the seed for her passion. As she admired the expressive linework and rustic charm of A Bell for Ursli, she knew she had found the art form she wanted to pursue. Now, she delights in crafting worlds where characters and environments come together to tell meaningful, whimsical stories. When she’s not illustrating or writing, Natalie enjoys soaking up everyday magic with her husband, two children, and their two dogs.
