ORIT MAGIA is an award‑winning author, illustrator, and designer. She has always been captivated by stories, objects, and aesthetics, but drawing has been her greatest love from the start. In her work, she brings these passions together to create minimalist picture books with memorable characters, humor, and emotion. Her books has been translated and published worldwide, and have been recognized for their authentic and distinctive visual language. Orit is the illustrator of Mel Rosenberg’s EMILY SAW A DOOR, published by Random House Studio. A graduate of Bezalel’s Industrial Design program, she is the co-owner of SHULAB, an industrial & graphic design studio.
